The (Negative) Value of Summaries

I'm kind of shocked actually.

It tooks hours, but it was exciting - merging any kind of feed or interest I have, and automagically putting them into a single repository that my Ai turns into summaries.

After I set it all up I started clicking one button on web pages to send it.

I can add a note, choose a folder and add a tag if I’d like.
It’s so easy I just like a video on Youtube and it sends it in.
It even goes through all my newsletters in gmails.

Then it sends my quick summaries, checks my projects and see what’s relevant. And it’s doing a great job, but here’s the shocker - I don’t care. I really don’t care.

Once I get away from the initial excitement of a link, an article, a video, I see that most of it is just a waste of time.

And that’s actually not a dig against the content. It’s the realization that I get so much more out of doing and writing then I do with surfing and consuming.
